OUR HISTORY

From a class of 40 to a global community.

For over 25 years, every milestone has carried us closer to the same vision: preparing students who lead with integrity and serve with compassion.
  1. 1999

    Doors opened

    PCC opened its doors with 40 students from JK to Grade 8, laying the foundation for a faith-centred, high-quality education.

  2. 2002

    Pre-Kindergarten begins

    We welcomed our first Pre-JK class, offering children at age three the opportunity to begin their learning journey in a nurturing environment.

  3. 2005

    First international students

    Our community expanded globally as we began welcoming international students from countries including Korea, China, Brazil, and across the Middle East.

  4. 2007

    High school launched

    We launched our high school program with just three Grade 9 students, setting the stage for continued growth and academic excellence.

  5. 2008

    Good Samaritan Program

    The Good Samaritan Program was introduced, providing tailored support for students with learning exceptionalities and special needs.

  6. 2019

    Diamond Winner

    PCC was honoured as the Diamond Winner in the Mississauga Readers' Choice Awards for Best Private School.

  7. 2020

    Online International Program

    PCC's Online International Program launched, delivering access to our faith-driven, academically excellent education to students worldwide.

  8. Today

    A growing community

    Our high school now serves more than 150 students, with a total enrolment of over 360 students from Pre-JK to Grade 12.

MEET OUR PRINCIPAL

Mrs. Phoebe A. Wasfy

Mrs. Phoebe A. Wasfy, Principal
Mrs. Phoebe A. Wasfy is a distinguished Egyptian-Canadian educator and visionary school leader with more than two decades of experience in faith-based education. Born in Alexandria and raised in North America, she brings a rich cultural perspective, deep academic expertise, and an unwavering commitment to Christian values — inspiring students to lead lives rooted in faith, excellence, and service.
In 2026 she was named Educator of the Decade and spoke at the World Education Summit 2026 in Dubai. In 2023 she received Presidential Recognition from Egypt for her cultural, educational, and community contributions. Under her leadership since 2014, PCC has been recognized multiple times as Mississauga's Best Private Christian School.
Mrs. Wasfy holds a Bachelor of Arts in History and Religious Studies from the University of Toronto (2002), a Professional Program in Education from D'Youville University in New York (2004), and a Master of Education from the University of Western Ontario (2014). She has completed her Principal Qualification Courses, earned a Higher Education Teaching Certificate from Harvard University (2019), and holds additional qualifications in Reading, History, and Religious Studies — with certification to teach from Kindergarten through Grade 12.
Since assuming leadership in 2014, Mrs. Wasfy has guided PCC to new heights of academic excellence, spiritual formation, and community impact. Under her leadership, PCC has been recognized multiple times as Mississauga's Best Private Christian School, reflecting a strong commitment to high academic standards, character development, and student success.
Mrs. Wasfy's leadership and impact have been widely recognized at the national and international levels. She is a distinguished member of the International Association of Top Professionals (IAOTP) and has received numerous honours for her contributions to education and leadership. In 2026 she was named Educator of the Decade, recognizing her sustained excellence, influence, and innovation in education. She is also a World Education Summit 2026 Speaker in Dubai and a recipient of the Education Impact Leadership Award, acknowledging her work in shaping future-focused, values-driven educational models.
Her recognitions also include induction into the Marquis Who's Who Biographical Registry, the Arab Women of Excellence Award in Academia, the Vision Builder Women of Inspiration Award, and multiple distinctions from international leadership organizations celebrating her as a top principal, empowered woman, and global education leader. In 2023 she received Presidential Recognition from Egypt for her cultural, educational, and community contributions, further affirming her role as a bridge between global education and cultural identity.
Beyond PCC, Mrs. Wasfy has served on the Board of ACSI Eastern Canada, is an adjunct faculty member in the Canadian Coptic Centre's Youth Ministry Certification Program (YMCP), and has represented Canada as a delegate at the World Youth Forum in Sharm El-Sheikh. She is also deeply committed to mentorship, global outreach, and humanitarian initiatives, including leading PCC's first student-driven fundraising campaign in support of Egypt's national Decent Life initiative.
Passionate about education, leadership, and faith, Mrs. Wasfy remains committed to cultivating academic excellence, spiritual growth, and strong character — empowering students to lead with integrity, serve with compassion, and make a meaningful impact on their families, communities, and the world.
